សម្តេច​តេ​ជោ ហ៊ុន សែន ថ្លែង​ថាខណៈ​សម្តេច​មិន​ចង់​ធ្វើ​អត្ថាធិប្បាយ​អំពី​ជម្លោះ​កម្ពុជា​-​ថៃ​ដែល​កំពុង​ស្ថិត​ក្រោម​បទ​ឈប់​បាញ់​នោះ សម្តេច​បាន​ថ្លែង​សុន្ទរកថា​ជា​សាធារណៈ​ដែល​កំពុង​កើនឡើង​ជុំវិញ​ច្រកទ្វារ​ព្រំដែន​ដែល​បិទទ។ លោក​បញ្ជាក់​ថា ការ​បិទ​នេះ​ជា​ការ​សម្រេច​ដោយ​ឯកតោភាគី​របស់​ប្រទេស​ថៃ ហើយ​កម្ពុជា​មិន​ដែល​ស្នើ​សុំ​បើក​ឡើង​វិញ​ទេ។ នៅពេលដែលថៃបើកភាគីរបស់ខ្លួនឡើងវិញ កម្ពុជានឹងធ្វើតាមក្នុងរយៈពេលប្រាំម៉ោង។ កម្ពុជា​នឹង​មិន​អំពាវនាវ​ឲ្យ​មាន​ការ​បើក​វិញ​ទេ បើ​ទោះ​បី​ជា​ការ​បិទ​នេះ​នៅ​តែ​បន្ត​រាប់​ទសវត្សរ៍​ក៏​ដោយ។

សម្ដេច ហ៊ុន សែន បានថ្លែងអំណរគុណដល់ប្រទេសថៃសម្រាប់ការជំរុញសេដ្ឋកិច្ចដោយអចេតនាដែលបណ្តាលមកពីការបិទដោយកត់សម្គាល់ថាការបញ្ឈប់ការនាំចូលរបស់ថៃបានពង្រឹងផលិតកម្មក្នុងស្រុក និងលើកទឹកចិត្តដល់ប្រជាជនកម្ពុជាឱ្យគាំទ្រទំនិញក្នុងស្រុក។ ទោះបីជាគ្មានផលិតផលថៃអស់រយៈពេលជាង 3 ខែក៏ដោយ ក៏ទីផ្សារកម្ពុជានៅតែមានស្ថិរភាព ជាមួយនឹងការផ្គត់ផ្គង់គ្រប់គ្រាន់ និងអតិផរណាទាប ដែលឆ្លុះបញ្ចាំងពីការគ្រប់គ្រងសេដ្ឋកិច្ចប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព។

ឆ្លើយតបនឹងសំណើរបស់ជប៉ុនក្នុងការដឹកជញ្ជូនទំនិញឆ្លងកាត់ព្រំដែន​ សម្ដេចហ៊ុន សែន​ បញ្ជាក់យ៉ាងច្បាស់ថាកម្ពុជាបានយល់ព្រមរួចហើយ ហើយជប៉ុនគួរតែចរចាជាមួយថៃ។ លោក​បាន​ជំរុញ​ឲ្យ​ប្រជាជន​កម្ពុជា​អត់ធ្មត់ និង​ជឿជាក់​លើ​រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល​ក្នុងការ​ដោះស្រាយ​បញ្ហា​ដោយ​សន្តិវិធី ដោយ​សង្កត់ធ្ងន់​ថា «​យើង​មិនអាច​យកសង្គ្រាម​បញ្ចប់សង្គ្រាម​បានទេ​»​។

Hun Sen Reaffirms Cambodia’s Stance on Border Closure with Thailand

Samdech Techo Hun Sen stated that while he does not wish to comment on the Cambodia–Thailand conflict currently under a ceasefire, he addressed growing public debate over the closed border checkpoint. He emphasized that the closure was a unilateral decision by Thailand, and Cambodia has never requested its reopening. Once Thailand reopens its side, Cambodia will follow within five hours. Cambodia will not appeal for the reopening, even if the closure continues for decades.

Hun Sen expressed gratitude to Thailand for the unintended economic boost caused by the closure, noting that the halt of Thai imports has strengthened domestic production and encouraged Cambodians to support local goods. Despite more than three months without Thai products, Cambodian markets remain stable, with adequate supplies and low inflation, reflecting effective economic management.

Addressing Japan’s request to transport goods across the border, Hun Sen clarified that Cambodia has already granted approval and Japan should negotiate with Thailand. He urged Cambodians to remain patient and trust the Royal Government to resolve the issue peacefully, stressing that “we cannot end war with war.”
