សម្ដេចហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែតបានលើកឡើងពីភាពមិនច្បាស់លាស់នៃបទឈប់បាញ់នៅវ៉ាស៊ីនតោន

នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី សម្ដេច ហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែត បានធ្វើឱ្យអន្តរជាតិចាប់អារម្មណ៍ជាថ្មីលើជម្លោះព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលកិច្ចប្រជុំលើកដំបូងនៃក្រុមប្រឹក្សាសន្តិភាព (Board of Peace) នៅទីក្រុងវ៉ាស៊ីនតោន ដែលរៀបចំឡើងដោយលោក ដូណាល់ ត្រាំ។ ជំនួបកាលពីថ្ងៃទី ១៩ ខែកុម្ភៈ ដែលមានតំណាងមកពីជាង ៤០ ប្រទេសចូលរួមនេះ បានបង្ហាញពីការបង្កើនការចូលរួមរបស់ពិភពលោកក្នុងជម្លោះតំបន់ រួមទាំងភាពតានតឹងតាមបណ្តោយព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃផងដែរ។

ថ្លែងក្នុងព្រឹត្តិការណ៍នោះ សម្ដេច ហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែត បានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា កម្ពុជាបានចូលរួមក្នុងគំនិតផ្ដួចផ្ដើមនេះ ដើម្បីបង្ហាញពីឆន្ទៈមោះមុត និងការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តចំពោះសន្តិភាពពិភពលោក។ លោកបានទទួលស្គាល់ថា បទឈប់បាញ់តាមបណ្តោយព្រំដែននៅតែមានភាព «ផុយស្រួយ» បន្ទាប់ពីមានភាពតានតឹងអស់រយៈពេលជាច្រើនខែ។ លោក ត្រាំ បានរំលឹកដល់ការប្រយុទ្ធគ្នាដែលបានកើតឡើងនាពេលថ្មីៗនេះ ដោយកត់សម្គាល់ថា លោកបានជួយសម្របសម្រួលឱ្យមានបទឈប់បាញ់រវាងភាគីទាំងពីរ។ ចំណែកភាគីថៃបានចូលរួមកិច្ចប្រជុំនេះក្នុងនាមជាអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍។

Hun Manet Highlights Fragile Ceasefire at Board of Peace Meeting in Washington

Prime Minister Hun Manet brought renewed international attention to the Cambodia–Thailand border dispute during the first meeting of the Board of Peace in Washington, hosted by Donald Trump. The February 19 gathering, attended by representatives from more than 40 countries, signaled growing global involvement in regional conflicts, including tensions along the Cambodia - Thailand border.

Speaking at the event, Hun Manet said Cambodia joined the initiative as a sign of goodwill and commitment to global peace. He acknowledged that the ceasefire along the border remains fragile after months of tension. Trump referenced the recent fighting, noting that he had helped mediate a ceasefire between the two sides. Thailand attended the meeting as an observer.

The Board of Peace, established following a UN Security Council resolution, aims to support conflict resolution and post-war reconstruction, with its first session focused largely on Gaza. During the visit, Hun Manet also held meetings with senior US and international officials to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties, while reaffirming Cambodia’s commitment to resolving the border dispute peacefully through dialogue and international law.
