ប្រទេសថៃកំណត់លក្ខខណ្ឌបទឈប់បាញ់សម្រាប់កិច្ចពិភាក្សា GBC

គណៈកម្មាធិការរួមតំបន់ព្រំដែន កម្ពុជា–ថៃ (GBC) បើកកិច្ចប្រជុំនៅថ្ងៃទី​ 24​ ខែធ្នូ វេលាម៉ោង ៤ ល្ងាច នៅខេត្តចាន់ថាបូរី ប្រទេសថៃ។ តាមសំណើរបស់ភាគីថៃ កិច្ចប្រជុំនេះនឹងប្រព្រឹត្តទៅចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី ២៤ ដល់ថ្ងៃទី ២៧ ខែធ្នូ ដោយចាប់ផ្តើមពីកិច្ចប្រជុំថ្នាក់លេខាធិការដ្ឋានជាមុនសិន ហើយបន្ទាប់ពីកិច្ចប្រជុំថ្នាក់លេខាធិការដ្ឋានមានវឌ្ឍនភាពវិជ្ជមាន ទើបរៀបចំកិច្ចប្រជុំថ្នាក់រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីនៅថ្ងៃទី ២៧ ខែធ្នូ។

ភាគីថៃបានបញ្ជាក់ឡើងវិញអំពីលក្ខខណ្ឌសំខាន់ ៣ ចំណុច សម្រាប់កិច្ចចរចាលើកនេះ៖

១. កម្ពុជាត្រូវប្រកាសបទឈប់បាញ់ជាមុនសិន មុនពេលចាប់ផ្តើមកិច្ចចរចា;

២. បទឈប់បាញ់របស់កម្ពុជាត្រូវមានភាពពិតប្រាកដ មានភាពចីរភាព និងអាចទទួលការត្រួតពិនិត្យបាន;

៣. កម្ពុជាត្រូវសហការជាមួយថៃដោយស្មោះត្រង់ ក្នុងការអនុវត្តការដោះមីន។

ភាគីថៃបានបញ្ជាក់ថា ប្រសិនបើកិច្ចប្រជុំថ្នាក់លេខាធិការដ្ឋានមិនមានវឌ្ឍនភាពល្អ កិច្ចប្រជុំ GBC លើកនេះអាចនឹងបញ្ចប់មុនកាលកំណត់។

Thailand Sets Ceasefire Terms for GBC Talks

The Cambodia-Thailand Joint Border Committee (GBC) will meet on December 24 at 4 p.m. in Chanthaburi Province, Thailand. At the request of the Thai side, the meeting will be held from December 24 to 27, starting with a secretariat-level meeting first, and after the secretariat-level meeting makes positive progress, a ministerial-level meeting will be held on December 27.

The Thai side reiterated three key conditions for the talks:

1. Cambodia must declare a ceasefire before the talks begin;

2. Cambodia’s ceasefire must be genuine, sustainable and verifiable;

3. Cambodia must cooperate sincerely with Thailand in implementing demining.

The Thai side stated that if the secretariat-level meeting does not make good progress, the GBC meeting may end early.
