កម្ពុជាកំពុងបង្កើនកិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែងផ្នែកការទូត និងច្បាប់ ដើម្បីដោះស្រាយភាពតានតឹងនៅតាមបណ្តោយព្រំដែនជាមួយប្រទេសថៃ និងជំរុញឱ្យមានការបន្តកិច្ចពិភាក្សាលើការបោះបង្គោលព្រំដែនដែលបានអូសបន្លាយពេលយ៉ាងយូរ។ ទោះបីជាបទឈប់បាញ់ត្រូវបានអនុវត្តចាប់តាំងពីខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ ២០២៥ ក៏ដោយ ក៏ភាគីទាំងពីរនៅតែបន្តរាយការណ៍អំពីការប៉ះទង្គិចគ្នាដោយអន្លើ និងចោទប្រកាន់គ្នាទៅវិញទៅមកថាបានបរាជ័យក្នុងការគោរពកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងឱ្យបានពេញលេញ។

លោក ប៉ែន បូណា អ្នកនាំពាក្យរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល បានមានប្រសាសន៍ថា ការការពារបូរណភាពទឹកដីនៃប្រទេសជាតិ នៅតែជាអាទិភាពចម្បងសម្រាប់រដ្ឋបាលរបស់សម្តេចធិបតី ហ៊ុន ម៉ាណែត។ កម្ពុជាបានអំពាវនាវម្តងហើយម្តងទៀតដល់ប្រទេសថៃ ឱ្យចាប់ផ្តើមការចរចាឡើងវិញតាមរយៈគណៈកម្មការចម្រុះកិច្ចការព្រំដែន (JBC) ដើម្បីដោះស្រាយបញ្ហាព្រំដែនដែលមិនទាន់មានដំណោះស្រាយ និងកាត់បន្ថយភាពតានតឹងដែលប៉ះពាល់ដល់សហគមន៍មូលដ្ឋាន។

មន្ត្រីកម្ពុជាក៏បានលើកយកបញ្ហានេះទៅកាន់ឆាកអន្តរជាតិផងដែរ។ គណៈប្រតិភូមួយដឹកនាំដោយលោក កែវ រ៉េមី បានចូលរួមសម័យប្រជុំលើកទី ៦១ នៃក្រុមប្រឹក្សាសិទ្ធិមនុស្សអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិនៅទីក្រុងហ្សឺណែវ ដើម្បីលើកឡើងពីស្ថានភាពនៃគ្រួសារដែលភៀសខ្លួន និងការខូចខាតដល់ផ្ទះសម្បែង ព្រមទាំងហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធនៅតាមបណ្តោយព្រំដែន។ លោក ប្រាក់ សុខុន រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីការបរទេស បានប្រាប់ក្រុមប្រឹក្សានេះថា សន្តិភាព អធិបតេយ្យភាព និងសន្តិសុខ គឺមានសារៈសំខាន់ណាស់សម្រាប់ការការពារសិទ្ធិមនុស្ស និងការអភិវឌ្ឍ។

Cambodia Intensifies Diplomatic Efforts Over Border Dispute With Thailand

Cambodia is increasing diplomatic and legal efforts to address tensions along its border with Thailand and push for the resumption of long-delayed boundary demarcation talks. Although a ceasefire has been in place since December 2025, both sides continue to report occasional clashes and accuse each other of failing to fully respect the agreement.

Government spokesman Pen Bona said protecting the country’s territorial integrity remains the top priority for the administration of Hun Manet. Cambodia has repeatedly called on Thailand to restart negotiations through the Joint Boundary Commission to settle unresolved border issues and reduce tensions affecting local communities.

Cambodian officials have also raised the issue internationally. A delegation led by Keo Remy attended the 61st session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva to highlight the situation of displaced families and alleged damage to homes and infrastructure along the border. Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn told the council that peace, sovereignty and security are essential for protecting human rights and development.

According to the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia, more than 600,000 people about 93% of those displaced by the conflict have returned home, while tens of thousands remain in temporary shelters. Several schools and health facilities in Oddar Meanchey Province, Banteay Meanchey Province and Preah Vihear Province remain closed as the government continues to call for a peaceful resolution of the dispute under international law.
