(Battambang): Despite a special meeting of ASEAN foreign ministers and the insistence of the US, China and many countries for Cambodia and Thailand to stop the armed conflict between them, the Thai army continues to encroach on Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In addition to shelling along the border, the Thai Air Force has also used T50 aircraft purchased from South Korea to drop bombs deep into Cambodian territory in Siem Reap, Battambang and Banteay Meanchey provinces.

In Phnom Sampov village-commune, Banan district, Battambang province, a village with a large population, the Thai Air Force dropped several bombs. The bombing caused great fear among the residents of the village. Fearing that the weight of the bombs would endanger their lives, the villagers, young and old, decided to flee their homes and into the rice fields.

Among the people who fled the village were women who had just given birth and young children. The scene evokes intense emotion and also demonstrates the barbaric actions of the Thai Air Force to achieve their brutal aggression ambitions.
