Phnom Penh: Following the resounding success of the 1st Asian Kun Khmer Championship held in Vietnam, two countries are now competing for the right to host upcoming Kun Khmer martial arts competitions. According to Mr. Khow Chhay, President of the Khmer Boxing Federation and Secretary-General of the International Kun Khmer Federation, the successful execution of the inaugural Asian championship sparked widespread interest in Cambodia's traditional martial art. This surge in international recognition and enthusiasm has prompted two nations to submit proposals to host future regional and international Kun Khmer tournaments.
