HOW IT WORKS:

PROS:

✔ Good at detecting known viruses

✔ Fast and lightweight

CONS:

❌ Can’t detect brand-new or unknown threats

❌ Needs frequent updates

2️⃣ Behavior-Based / AI Antivirus (Next-Gen Antivirus)

HOW IT WORKS:

Watches how programs behave

Blocks suspicious actions even if the malware is new

PROS:

✔ Detects zero-day attacks

✔ Protects against ransomware & advanced threats

✔ Uses AI & machine learning

CONS:

❌ Slightly heavier on system resources

❌ Usually paid (but worth it)

CrowdStrike (enterprise)

No tool can protect someone who clicks everything.
